Aughnacloy House was constructed in 2000 and is a purpose built nursing home in the centre of Lurgan, County Armagh. Located close to the town centre and on public transport routes we offer nursing care in the following categories:
- Frail and Elderly Over 65 Years
- Physically Disabled Under 65 Years
- Brain Injury and Neurological Disorders
All rooms are single and en-suite with some larger ‘junior suites’ and there are beautiful south-west facing gardens and outdoor areas for residents to spend time in during the warmer weather.
There are multiple cosy day rooms for residents and their families to enjoy and our Dementia Unit has been designed to have as much natural light as possible. In addition there are themed areas throughout the home for therapeutic activity and treatment, including a light therapy suite and also a beautiful fully equipped hairdressing and beauty salon that residents enjoy spending time in.
Aughnacloy House was awarded a ‘Highly Commended’ certificate in the 2015 and 2016 ‘Northern Ireland Best-kept Healthcare Facility Awards.’ Aughnacloy House is easily accessed via public transport and there is a large car park at the home.
